Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Rose valley – Dades

At 8 a.m., we start our 3 days Marrakech Merzouga desert tour picking you up and depart Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. As a result, we pass through numerous Berber communities and stop at an Argan cooperative. We go uphill on the Tizi N-Tichka pass’s tortuous road. Before arriving to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, we will halt for a panoramic view in this mountain pass. Because of its rich history and architecture, the Kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Second, we travel to Ouarzazate, also known as the Sahara Gate. It is the capital cinema, with its Atlas studios producing films. You’ll stop by this attraction before heading to Skoura and Rose Valley. After that, we travel to Dades Valley for the first night of our three-day Marrakech Desert Trip.

Day 2: Dades – Todra gorges – Berber villages – Merzouga

The second day of our 3 days Marrakech Merzouga desert tour provides the ultimate desert experience. After breakfast, we will drive to Todra Gorges, passing via the Dades Valley. Second, we stop to Todra Gorges, a rock paradise. There is free time to walk through the 300-meter-high cliffs and it’s river. Then we travel to the Berber villages of Touroug and Tinjdad. One of these villages will be our lunch stop. We also go to Erfoud and drive to Merzouga. To get to the camp, you’ll take a 1-hour and 30-minute camel ride through the desert. Following dinner, we will spend the evening with Berbers and their drumming.

Day 3: Desert – Draa valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Seeing the beautiful sunrise in the desert early in the morning is a wonderful way to begin your day. You have the option of riding a camel again or driving right after breakfast at the campground. We’ll drive through Morocco’s longest palm-tree valley (Draa valley). Lunch in Nkoub or Agdez before heading to Ouarzazate. We then go to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains.
