The camp consist of 6 warm tents, each tent has different beds, single , double, and triple . You have also enough blanket that we are sure that you will not feel cold during the night. You can choose your private, or shared tent, whatever suit you.
We can host up to 30 persons.
We have also traditional tents made from the wool of the goats. We can build them if you are a big group. With these tents we can host 10 more guests.Le camp se compose de 6 tentes chaudes, chaque tente a des lits différents, simples, doubles et triples. Vous avez également suffisamment de couverture pour que nous soyons sûrs que vous n'aurez pas froid pendant la nuit. Vous pouvez choisir votre tente privée ou partagée, selon ce qui vous convient.

The traditional restaurant has sofas, tables and chairs for eating and relaxing.

The food we serve is mainly traditional food, for example couscous, tajine with vegetables, chicken or beef. We also serve soup, salad, grilled meat, grilled chicken, etc.
Of course we can prepare also vegetarian or vegan food for you.If you have any allergies, let us know.

Chegaga dunes and Lake Iriki is one of the most beautiful desert in the south of Morocco and the clostest real desert that you can reach from Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Zagora, Tata, Taznakht and Agadir.
It was the gate of the nomades caravanes in the past and the place of the small market that we still called swiqa.
Nomades were coming from different places in the world to exchange products.This is why it´s the best place for desert trekking. You can live some experiences exactly like our nomadic grand parents did, when they were traveling and discovering the authenticity of the desert.
The sun set from this big dune is just amazing, you can see an ocean of golden waves.
In the area of lake Iriki are also many oasis, gueltas (natural swimming pool in the desert), mountains, even volcanic mountains, hamada, savanne, etc.

We are only 67 kilometres away from Foum Zguid, which is the last small town before the desert. From Foum Zguid to Chegaga desert camp 1h:30 minutes, direction to M´hamid El Ghizlane. 70 befor Mhamid el ghizlane.
If you come from M'hamid El Ghizlane our camp located south side of Lake Iriki in the middle of dunes of Chegaga desert.We have also restaurant, toilets, shower.
If you are a camper and looking only for shower, toilet, and food we also offer our service to you.

DAY 1: FOUM ZGUID TO CHEGAGA DUNES
We will pick you up at the time that suits you from your Riad, hotel or camping site with our 4x4. If you are just coming to Foum Zguid and you have a small car, no worries, we have a safe place to park your car.
We will start our desert tour in the direction to lake Iriki desert. To reach Bivouac les Nomades we will have to drive 67 km of track, almost two hours of driving through the Moroccan Sahara.
After one of driving we will have a short break to discover the fossils area of Foum Zguid.
If you see something beautiful on the road, we can stop any time for you to take pictures.After that we will continue to cross the dry lake Iriki. We will find Bivouac les Nomades in the big dunes of the lake Iriki desert. Here you gonna spend your first night in the desert, with the hospitality of the nomads.
If you are interested, we can organize a camel ride to the big sand dune to enjoy the magnificent sunset.DAY 2: FROM BIVOUAC LES NOMADES TO GUEST HOUSE IN THE PARADISE OASIS OF LAKE IRIKI
After having a traditional, nomadic breakfast your camel team is waiting for you to cross the dry lake Iriki. You take with you only the most important things for the camel ride, suncream, your chech to protect you from the sun and the wind, water..etc.
The rest of your luggage we will put in the car, so that you will find it already in the guest house when you will arrive.In the middle of the lake Iriki, we will have a short break for a cup of tea and taking some pictures. From here you have the best view to the lake Iriki, the sand dunes and the mountains of Jebel Bani.
Once you will arrive at the paradise oasis and the guest house, your lunch will be ready.
In the evening you will have an appointment with your desert guide. He will explain you how nomads survive in the desert of lake Iriki and the history of the nomads of the Sahara.DAY 3: FROM PARADISE OASIS BACK TO FOUM ZGUID
The departure from the paradise oasis of Sidi abd Enbi will be at nine in the morning, back to the direction of Foum Zguid.

4 days Tour to Chegaga desert from Marrakech itinerary:
DAY 1: FROM MARRAKECH TO THE HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BEN HADDOU - OURAZAZATE
Your departure will be from your accommodation at 8:30.
First we have to cross the high Atlas mountains. The Tizi-n-Tischka pass is the highest pass road in North Africa and worth a stop to take some pictures. After a few kilometres we will leave the main road to visit Telouet Kasbah, which is a very old Kasbah that belongs to the Glaoui family.
We head up through Ounila valley and you can enjoy the view of the small Berber villages, small Kasbahs, and gardens till we reach Ait Ben Haddou.
You will have a one hour lunch break before you visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
After your return we will continue to Ouarzazate, where we will spend our first night.DAY 2: OUARZAZATE TO ZAGORA AND M´HAMID EL GHIZLANE
After having breakfast in Ourazazate, we will start your second day of your desert tour in the direction of Zagora.
You will be amazed by the numbers of palm trees and oasis in the Draa valley. They will accompany us alle the way, starting from Agdz.
On the way you will have some short visit to the Kasbah of Tamnougalt.
We will also cross the nice villages of Tansikht and Tinsouline before we will reach the biggest town in the region, Zagora.
Here we will have a one hour break for lunch.
In Tamgroute we will visit the potteries and also the old coranic library.
We will also pass Tagnite to reach the gate to the desert M´hmid el Ghizlane. Here the paved road ends.
This night you will sleep in a beautiful standart camp in the dunes of M´hamid.DAY 3: M´HAMID EL GHIZLANE TO ERG CHEGAGA
We will start our day with having breakfast in the desert camp.
The desert ist not only the big sand dunes that tourist are thinking of. It is a mixture between Hamada (stoney desert), oasis, flat ground and mountains. All of this you can see in this region.
We will take the 4x4 car and reach Erg Chegaga within 2 hours. Here you will spend you third night in a standart desert camp.
In the evening you will have your camel ride to see the sunset at the top of the the biggest dune of Morocco, Erg Chegaga.Day 4: From Erg Chegaga dunes to lake Iriki - Foum Zguid, Taznaght, back to Marrakech
After having a last breakfast in the Moroccan Sahara desert we will cross the dunes of Chegaga to reach the dry and salty lake Iriki. We will make a stop in the middle of the lake to have a cup of tea with the local nomads of lake Iriki at the terrace of restaurant Titanic.
After we will continue to Foum Zguid to have lunch in cafe called Chegaga.
From Foum Zguid on we can take a paved road again to go all the back to the high Atlas mountains. We will pass by Taznaght - the capitol of carpets. We will take a different road than the one we came from, so you can enjoy a different view.

Trekking starts from Zagora In Elfayja we will meet our camel team. We will cross Jabel Bani on the other side to reach Diabi oasis. Then hike around the Ouad Elmhasser mountains to the guelta Elmsaffi. The mountains around the guelta are worth spending a whole day there and discovering. Sunset and night under the stars. Then we will go to JEbel Bani. From there we will go to Erg Lihoudi to discover the dunes. Seven Days desert trekking from Zagora to Bivouac les nomades - lake Iriki itinerary:
DAY 1: FROM ZAGORA-ELFAYJA TO DIABI OASIS
The trekking tour starts from Zagora in the early morning. In Elfayja the south of the small village of Rggab Ental we will meet our camel team. We will cross to Jabel Bani to the other side to reach the Diabi oasis. A very beautiful and calm oasis in the middle of the mountains of ouad Elmhasser. The ground will be very rocky and makes the hiking more challenging. We will need to hike 5 hours to reach the oasis.
DAY 2: FROM DIABI OASIS TO ELMSAFFI GUELTA
After having breakfast in diabi oasis, we will start our second day through ouad Elmhasser mountains down to Elmsaffi guelta. A guelta is a natural pool in the desert mountains. You can swim in the guelta or just enjoy the special place. In the evening we can discover together the old building of the Portuguese colonization at the top of one of the big table mountains.DAY 3: DAY OFF AT ELMSAFFI GUELTA
The mountains around the guelta are worth it to spend a whole day here and discover them. You can find ruins, enjoying the panoramic view from the top of the mountains, especially with the sunset. For the fire in the evening we have to collect some wood.
At the evening we will sit around the fire and play some music together. We still sing the song, that our grandfathers sang in the past.DAY 4: FROM THE ELMSAFFI GUELTA TO EDGE OF JEBEL BANI
After having breakfast at the guelta we will start from the guelta through the rocky ouad Elmhasser. This is river which is most of the time dry. You can only find a little bit of water at guelta of Elmsaffi and once your are close to the top of Jebel Bani. Maybe we will meet some nomads on the way, because it´s the perfect place to find some water for the goats and camels. After 3,5 hours hiking we will reach the edge the Jebel Bani mountains. Here we will prepare our camp for the next night.
DAY 5: FROM THE EDGE OF JEBEL BANI TO ERG ELGHOUL
Our next stage of this desert trekking tour will be from the edge of Jabel Bani to Erg Elghoul.
Today the ground will be 10 kilometres of hamada (stone desert) with rocks, but yet there will be a little road from the camels caravane and the rest of the way will be sandy. In total you have to walk 18 km today. This day will be special, because you will leave the mountains and arrive in the sand and the big dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. In the evening we will enjoy the sunset from the big dunes of Erg Elghoul.
For the night you can choose to sleep in your tent or under the millions of desert stars outside, that you can enjoy the countless shooting stars.DAY 6: FROM ERG ELGHOUL TO THE OTHER SIDE OF LAKE IRIKI SAHARA DESERT
This day we will walk from Erg Elghoul to the other side of lake Iriki.
Today it will be the last trekking day and it will be a little bit tough, because we are going to cross the dunes from Chegaga side to lake Iriki side. Thats how we will reach Bivouac les Nomades, where we will pass the night in the middle of the dunes of lake Iriki: You will sleep in one of our beautiful tents in a comfortable bed. The desert camp has a kitchen, restaurants, toilets and a shower.
Here we will celebrate the last night in the desert together with nomad music.DAY 7: FROM BIVOUAC LES NOMADES BACK TO FOUM ZGUID OR ZAGORA
After a wonderful night in the Camp, we will take the 4×4 car back to Foum Zguid or Zagora, you can choose. Don´t miss the chance and wake up early to see the sunrise on one of the dunes - the colors are incredibly beautiful.

It is the family of Mustapha the founder of Bivouac les Nomades. You will have a traditional nomads couscous for dinner. Ouad Edkar is a small village in the south of morocco in foum zguid sahara. The nomads in this small village try to start their own little farms to grow their vegetableDAY 3: FROM OUAD EDKAR TO THE DESERT CAMP- BIVOUAC LES NOMADES
The next morning after breakfast we start walking in the direction of the beautiful dunes to Bivouac les Nomades. After 3 hours we will arrive in Bivouac les Nomades and you will sleep the last night in a comfortable bed in our beautiful desert tents. You will enjoy your last night in the desert in the rhythm of the traditional nomads music around the big camp fire.
DAY 4: BIVOUAC LES NOMADES BACK TO FOUM ZGUID
The next morning after breakfast we will take the 4×4 car, to return back to Foum Zguid
